Mobile Communications
As one of the biggest names in digital mobile radio communications our client needed to recruit a new Chief Operating Officer and knew exactly where to come. The position offered a six figure salary but in a niche marketplace like this, putting a quality shortlist together was never going to be easy. As well as applying our executive search skills, we also used online advertising and placed an ad on the front page of the Sunday Times. From that, we were able to shortlist six very strong candidates. The upshot being that not only was the role filled, the successful candidate has since become a major client of ours.
Software Services
Our client is the leader in business analytics software and services and is the largest independent vendor in the business intelligence market. After first working with them in 1991, we’ve now placed some 230 people in roles ranging from Technical Consultants through to the Sales Director, and across a number of different offices. We’ve also provided them with a combination of services, including contingency planning, executive search and national advertising.
Electronics Engineering
This particular client, an international electronic engineering and system integration business, has offices at over ten UK locations from the northwest to the south coast. They called on us to hire for a variety of roles from director level, though project and programme management and into the specialist engineering areas. The challenge involved working closely with the client to identify the specialist skills they were looking for, then create a targeted campaign that would attract the best candidates away from the prime contractors in their sector. We have so far hired over twenty staff for this client.
